Foundation Funds At Work In Community

It is great to learn more about how the money we raise through the Belmayne Foundation benefits the charities we support.

One of the organisations who received funds from us last year was Sheffield Group Riding for the Disabled. After distributing the remaining money in our charity pot, we received a lovely thank you card from them (see image), with the attached note:

Liz Bashforth of Sheffield Group Riding for the Disabled, said: “A big thank you to the Belmayne Foundation! The funds we received have been used to provide riding lessons each week for disabled children and adults. Our riders have a range of physical and learning disabilities, movement difficulties, behavioural issues etc. Interaction with horses can help them, as it builds up muscle tone, increases stamina and stability, is calming and encourages riders to interact with the horses and helpers – particularly the horses! Thank you again for supporting us – it is very much appreciated.”

It is our aim to focus our efforts on small local charities, where the money we raise can make a real difference. If you are passionate about a particular organisation and you would like to nominate it for our support in 2021, don’t hesitate to contact partner, Ben Smalley, on (01246) 298181 or email:
